Born In Split, Croatia, Frane Mlinar is recognized
as one of the leading masters in hyper-realism. He studied at the Arts
University of Sarajevo. His art has been enthusiastically received by the
public in over 20 exhibitions in Croatia, Europe and the United States.
The President of the Croatian Parliament is one of the proud collectors
of his work. In addition, his works are included in the Croatian Embassy
Collection in Washington, D.C. as well as in other prominent American and
European collections. His work mirrors the traditions of the ancient fishing
villages along the Adriatic, towns where life has not changed much in the
last 100 years.
